How ironic. Last Saturday my mother mentioned that she wanted to give someone at the door a December Awake? mag that would be beneficial to her because her son had been abused by a Catholic. I so wish I could have told her to watch NBC but with everything else going on in her life I felt it wasn't the time. She would only be upset with me for bringing it up. I so wish I knew who the lady was she was going to give the article to.

most apostates have been aware of that problem for years, and now it looks like it's about to go mainstream.. what happens now when the witlesses go out in field circus now?
now, they are going to use that nbc report against them.

Thanks so much for all the contributions. I haven't been to this site since yesterday afternnon and was so surprised by the response. I had cataract surgery this morning and because I can't wear my eyeglasses because of my patch I will only add one more piece of music that my mother loves. For me it will be my first experience hearing it. I don't think I made any typing errors!
Hope you enjoy and for all Americans have a Happy Thanksgiving.
I'' be back in a couple of days to add more. Hope many will continue to add also.
Max Bruch: Violin Concerto 1, 1st Movement: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xDFhrUj_XaE&feature=related
Didn't check to see which sounded better to me but I found this one that seems emotionally better. But what do you expect with the one eyed wonder. I assume it's the same concerto!

Hubert: Love the 9th Symphony along with Beethovens 9th. Maybe one night we should have our own concert. Listen while we post.
Here's the 2nd movement: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-ENf4VEhI40&feature=related
RE: Here's Pines of Rome: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ybuiT34Gqfk&feature=related
I'll listen to Dvorak, then I can get some work done for a longer period.

Blondie: I love this movement by Beethoven, it's so serene. The quality isn't so good though.

Thanks for the chuckle. I should change it a bit and give it to our pastor who's bald. He would get a chuckle out of it. He's used his baldness in some of his sermons. Erase one bald guy and instead of CO say the Professor at Theology College.

The MAGIC of Religion in only 6 easy steps
by Terry inat the earliest stages of human history there were priests, shaman and magi (from which we get the word "magic") who were skilled performers.
they gained special status from their level of mastery in duping and thrilling the human mind with its pact of desiring the transcendent experience.
(make me believe the impossible!).

I just woke up, but does this sound a lot like another theory?
Change disappearance to Nothing, Something out of nothing, One thing becomes another thing
Fool me once; shame on you.
Fool me twice; shame on me.
Fool me thrice; shame on ____?
Too timid to fill in the blank.
Those who hold to this theory: Their brains are rewarded each time they participate! The enormous pleasure of insulting believers with their superior knowledge gives them an enormous sense of well-being.
Just kidding with you Terry, couldn’t help it, but I wonder who will respond about my ignorance? I guess I’m just asking for it.
Terry: Some believers are accused of not thinking for themselves, yet the same can be said about non-believers. They automatically assume that what they read and what someone tells them is true. Even though I disagree with you, I do like the way you try to figure it out for yourself in your own mind.

Last Saturday my mom brought up the fact that a Catholic man had molested someone's child. At first I tried to bite my tongue because she's going through enough crap with her Elder husband. But she kept on and on and finally I told her that it went across the board; that all religions are touched by it. I believe that because the witness org and maybe the Catholic church both believe they are the only true church that God uses and both are very authoritarian that there is more likelyhood of this happening in this enviroment. One day I will show her all the information that I have.
I've found that seeds I didn't even know I planted with my wife bear fruit at the oddest times
I want to believe that one day they will put it all together and realize the truth; that they can no longer hide from it in all good concience.
